The iconic British-Irish boy band The Wanted has captivated the world’s attention since their formation in 2009.The group was founded with dynamic members Max George, Siva Kaneswaran, Jay McGuiness, Nathan Sykes, and the late Tom Parker, whose legacy continues to resonate.
Throughout their storied career, The Wanted has sold over 12 million records world wide. All five of the group’s albums and extended play have charted in thetop-10. Their self-titled debut album and the subsequent “Battleground” have both earned Platinum certifications. The Wanted has scored twelve top-25 singles, with nine of the singles achieving RIAA and BPI sales certifications.
The group’s hits include “All Time Low”, “Heart Vacancy”,“Gold Forever”, “Lightning”, “Chasing The Sun”, “I Found You”, “Walks Like Rihanna”, “We Own The Night”, “Show Me Love (America)”,“Have Some Fun” featuring Pitbull and Afrojack, and the international mass hit “Glad You Came”-a top-25 in over 15 countries.
The Wanted has been nominated for two Brit Awards,an American Music Award, an MTV Award, and fourteen World Music Awards. In 2013, the group starred in their own reality television show-“The Wanted Life”. The series was executive produced by Ryan Seacrest and aired on E! Entertainment Television.
For five years, The Wanted toured worldwide, headlining theaters and arenas across five continents. After a seven-year hiatus, in Spring 2022,the group presented their “Greatest Hits Tour” in arenas throughout the United Kingdom.
