[tweetmeme]The Depeche Mode concert film “101” — documenting the Concert for the Masses — will get a homecoming of sorts this summer when the Los Angeles outdoor film series Eat|See|Hear screens it where it was filmed on June 18, 1988: the cavernous Rose Bowl stadium in Pasadena.
On Aug. 25, the film will be projected onto what’s billed as the “largest screen on the West Coast” at the famed stadium. There will be a yet-to-be-announced band performing, and a variety of food trucks on hand. Doors open at 5 p.m., the music starts at 7 p.m. and the film begins at 8 p.m.
Oh, and you can bring your dog (seriously).
Tickets to the Rose Bowl screening of “101” are $13 to $27, and are on sale now.
