[tweetmeme]Just a couple months after the unreleased “Same Old Madness” was included on the reissue of Ministry’s classic Twelve Inch Singles 1981-1984, another early With Sympathy-era track is seeing the light of day — this time, somewhat surprisingly, courtesy of bandleader Al Jourgensen, who has famously distanced himself from his band’s early synthpop days.
But late Sunday, Jourgensen posted the 1983 song “Anything For You” — known to fans as “I Will Do Anything For You” after it was played on tour in ’84 — as part of his ongoing “Ministry Mondays” series in which he gives away remixes of tracks largely off of the recent Relapse and From Beer to Eternity albums.
Jourgensen referred to the track as a “rare, never-before-released song from With Sympathy.”
Below, you can stream the song — or download a free MP3 courtesy of Uncle Al.
