[tweetmeme]Echo & The Bunnymen will embark on a 14-date North American tour this August in support of their forthcoming album Meteorites, and this week debuted not just one but two new tracks off the record, including the official U.S. single “Holy Moses.”
The Bunnymen will follow their previously announced U.K. tour, set for May, with a North American trek in August, hitting a dozen U.S. cities — including a two-night stand in New York City — plus stops in the Canadian cities of Toronto and Vancouver, B.C. The trek opens Aug. 1 in Los Angeles and wraps Aug. 17 in Philadelphia. See full dates below via USA Today.
The newspaper also premiered “Holy Moses,” the first U.S. single off Meteorites. Its counterpart, the first U.K. single, “Lovers on the Run,” was debuted earlier, as was the 7-minute album track “Market Town.” Meteorites is due out May 26 in the U.K. and June 3 in the U.S.
