Neil Finn's career has been filled with twists and turns from his time with new wave pioneers Split Enz to the poppier Crowded House and on to more recent experimental projects, such as Finn Brothers, 7 Worlds Collide and Pajama Club. His new solo album, "Dizzy Heights" (Lester), catalogs the broad spectrum of his songwriting into a clever package. Finn channels some Jeff Buckley on the lovely "Impressions," while his falsetto on "Divebomber" calls to mind Thom Yorke in an orchestral setting. His warm voice is at its most beautiful, though, when it's unadorned, especially in the lovely "Lights of New York."
