[tweetmeme]With news over the past weekend that the Sasquatch! Music Festival in Washington state was canceling its second weekend due to low ticket sales, it’s perhaps no surprise that New Order — which had scheduled other West Coast dates around the appearance — moved quickly to lock in a replacement gig.
The band announced today that it will instead perform July 6 at Seattle’s Paramount Theatre; tickets for that concert go on sale April 11, according to the group.
Following a South American trek in late March and early April, New Order — Bernard Sumner, Stephen Morris, Gillian Gillbert, Phil Cunningham and Tom Chapman — will return to North America in July for five performances, beginning in Chicago on July 1 and wrapping up in Los Angeles on July 13.
