[tweetmeme]The Pet Shop Boys will follow up last fall’s North American tour in support of their Electric album with another short run of U.S. dates this spring, as the band today announced seven new concerts — primarily on the East and West coasts — surrounding the duo’s twin appearances at the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival in April.
PSB will bring its full Electric production and setlist to shows in Oakland, Calif., Ventura, Calif., Dallas, Austin, Texas, Phoenix, Atlantic City, N.J., and New York City from April 8 to 26, with slots at Coachella set for April 12 and 19 (see full details below).
According to the band’s website, tickets go on sale at 10 a.m today local time for the U.S. shows; additional 2014 dates in other countries are expected to be announced “at a later date.”
