[tweetmeme]In addition to releasing a brand-new studio album this June, Peter Murphy is now taking pre-orders via PledgeMusic for “Mr. Moonlight Tour: 35 Years of Bauhaus,” a DVD release and 10-inch vinyl EP that was filmed/recorded at the Fonda Theatre in Los Angeles last summer.
As with any PledgeMusic campaign, there are a wide variety of packages, including just ordering the NTSC-format DVD or the 10-inch EP on clear vinyl, to combinations of the two, or combinations of the new DVD and the forthcoming album Lion on CD or vinyl, or, even, for $1,000, a package that includes a Shure Beta 58 microphone that Murphy used in the studio.
The tracklist for the DVD has not yet been revealed — the show was on Murphy’s all-Bauhaus tour last year, so it will include songs by that band or covered by the band — but the EP will include live readings of “Double Dare,” “In the Flat Field,” “God in an Alcove,” “The Spy in the Cab” and “Stigmata Martyr.”

Here’s Murphy’s intro to the project:
UNLOCK A WINDOW INTO MR. MOONLIGHT….
PRE-ORDER my upcoming ‘35 Years of Bauhaus’ DVD and get exclusive access to a series of FREE EXTRAS like exclusive interview footage, unique unseen photos and much more.
Back in July 2013 I was fortunate enough to experience one of the most amazing nights of my career at The Fonda Theatre in Los Angeles. It was a splendid night and as a result we have decided to release it as a special live DVD.
Working with PledgeMusic gives me the chance to make available alternative and interesting offers while allowing me to fill the experience with extra content for you in the ‘Updates’ page above. More on this to come….
This is also the first place you can buy my new album ‘Lion’ alongside the DVD. As well as vinyl, signed product, lyric sheets, sets lists and even one of the microphones I used during the recording my new album.
Thank you for being part of this!
