[tweetmeme]Pioneering electro-industrial act Skinny Puppy will return to the road in North America late this fall with this week’s announcement of “The Alliance of Sound,” a 17-date tour that finds the group joined by dark-electronic compatriots VNV Nation and Haujobb.
The tour, which also will feature opening sets by newcomer EBM/industrial act Youth Code, opens Nov. 28 in Toronto and runs through Dec. 20 in Pomona, Calif. (see full tour dates below).
For Skinny Puppy, the tour follows a large-scale North American trek earlier this year in support of the band’s most recent studio album, Weapon.
Industrial fans no doubt will love the idea of a Skinny Puppy-headlined package tour, although it’s still not the “Monsters of Industrial” tour proposed last year by Front Line Assembly’s Bill Leeb.
