[tweetmeme]The Church will follow February’s U.S. release of its new album Further/Deeper with a 19-date North American tour that will find the Aussie rockers performing both at San Francisco’s Noise Pop Festival and the South By Southwest Music Conference in Austin, Texas.
The new album, the band’s 25th, was released last month in Australia, but doesn’t arrive in North America until Feb. 3. It’s the
long-running band’s first record without guitarist
Marty Willson-Piper, who was “not available” and has been replaced by
Powderfingerguitarist
Ian Haug.
The tour opens Feb. 21 in Vancouver, B.C., and wraps up March 18-21 at South By Southwest.
