[tweetmeme]The Cure today announced a pair of Christmas concerts at London’s Hammersmith Eventim Apollo next month, promising two-and-a-half-hour shows that will find the band “playing songs drawn from their entire 37-year-old catalogue, including deep cuts, pop songs, fan favourites and surprises galore,” according to the band’s Facebook page.
And, as they did at the same venue 30 years ago, long-running post-punk act and Cure associates And Also the Trees will open the Dec. 21 and 22 shows.
Tickets go on sale 8 a.m. London time this Friday.
