[tweetmeme]The reunion of Paisley Underground heroes The Dream Syndicate — who have played select of dates in the U.S. and Europe over the last couple years — finally reaches New York City this fall with the announcement of a Nov. 15 performance at Rough Trade NYC in Brooklyn.
The New York date joins just a handful of other Dream Syndicate shows this year, including dates in Portland, Ore., Seattle, Atlanta and Los Angeles, and follows bandleader Steve Wynn’s current tour with The Baseball Project, which has him on the road with Scott McCaughey and R.E.M.’s Mike Mills.
Wynn also is booked for a short run of solo-acoustic dates in the midwest this fall.
The current incarnation of The Dream Syndicate features frontman Wynn, original drummer Dennis Duck, bassist Mark Walton (who joined after 1984′s Medicine Show) and guitarist Jason Victor, who plays in Wynn’s current band, The Miracle Three.
